No dispatch fee for estimates. Free written quote before work begins — a real number, not a range.
How fast can you get to Bergen County emergencies?
Same-day on most core-zone emergency calls. Extended Bergen zone usually same-day too; occasionally next-morning.
Flat-rate or hourly?
Flat-rate per job, never hourly. Diagnostic-only visits (hidden leak, intermittent failure) get quoted separately and apply toward the repair.
Nights, weekends, or holidays — extra charge?
Emergency after-hours work carries a premium. You'll see the after-hours rate on the written estimate before we start. No ambush billing.
Do you work on older Bergen homes — galvanized pipe, cast iron, fieldstone foundations?
Yes — it’s a specialty. Pre-1960 galvanized lines, cast iron drains, fieldstone basements. Half of Bergen was built before 1960 and we’ve seen most of what that means.
Do you pull permits in Bergen County municipalities?
Yes. Water heater, main water line, boiler, gas line, backflow — we pull the permit, schedule inspection, and stay through sign-off. Permit fees pass through at cost.
What warranty do you offer on the work?
1-year workmanship warranty — if it fails because of how we put it in, we fix it on our dime. Equipment manufacturer warranties (6–12 years on water heaters, 10+ on boilers) registered at install.
Are you licensed and insured in NJ?
NJ Master Plumber License 13158. Licensed, bonded, and fully insured — general liability plus workers' comp. BBB A+ rated. Verify the license on the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs license lookup.
Do you service boilers and heating systems?
Yes — the “And Heating” in our name is real. Boiler service and replacement, zone valves, radiator balancing, pipe insulation, winterization. Winter emergencies (no heat in freezing weather) get priority scheduling over planned work.
