Water Line Replacement in Bergen County, NJ
Main service line from the street to the house. Old galvanized, lead goosenecks, or failing copper replaced with modern PEX or Type-K copper. Coordinated with your Bergen municipality for permit and inspection.
What this covers
The water line replacement scope.
Line condition inspection
Camera the existing line + identify material (galvanized, lead, copper). Spec replacement material accordingly.
Permit + town coordination
We pull the permit with your Bergen municipality, coordinate with the water department for shutoff and restoration.
Trenchless (where possible)
Pipe bursting or directional boring to minimize driveway / lawn disruption. Not every site supports it — we tell you upfront.
Open-trench replacement

Water Line Replacement FAQ
Quick answers before you call.
Will my driveway or lawn be torn up?
Trenchless (pipe bursting or directional boring) is our first option when soil and conditions allow it — minimal surface disruption. When trenchless isn’t feasible, we run the smallest open trench and restore on completion. We tell you which method we’re using on the estimate.
Who pulls the permit and handles inspection?
We do, with your Bergen municipality. We coordinate the water department for shutoff and final hookup, and we stay through inspection. Permit fee passes through at cost on the written estimate.
Do you warranty the work?
Yes. 1-year workmanship warranty on every install and repair — if it fails because of how we did it, we come back and fix it. Equipment carries manufacturer warranty (typically 6–12 years depending on unit), which we register at install.
